  • SDS 2017

We are providing to authority and update SDSs and related documentation for chemical substances and mixtures (incl. Biocides and Detergents) as well as communication in downstream supply chain.

June 1, 2017 deadline. After this deadline labeling and packaging of chemical substance and mixtures according to DPD or DSD is not possible to apply and therefore also Safety Data Sheets has to be in accordance with CLP regulation.

* In Safety Data Sheets form 1 June 2015, the classification of chemical substances and mixtures is based on the REGULATION (EC) No 1272/2008 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL as amended.
Exemptions may be applied only until 1 June 2017.

* From 1 June 2015 also COMMISSION REGULATION (EU) 2015/830 of 28 May 2015 amending Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) came into force, which amends the form of Safety Data Sheets. All Safety Data Sheets has to be complying with this Regulation as well as of 1 June 2017.

* Another reason for the revision of the existing SDS(s) is the amendment of CLP regulation - COMMISSION REGULATION (EU) 2016/918 of 19 May 2016 amending, for the purposes of its adaptation to technical and scientific progress, inter alia, amended the wording of some hazard statements (H phrases) and precautionary statements (P- phrases). This Regulation has entered into force and must be used by 1 February 2018 at the latest.

  • REACH 2018

We offer our professional capacity to meet the requirements of the registration of chemical substances in compliance with REACH - Pre-registration, registration, representation in SIEF e "third party" (for producers within the EU), the sole representative (for importers in EU).

31. May 2017 is the last day for REACH pre-registration of substances. After that date must be all substances manufactured or imported in volumes over 1 tonne per year in the EU directly registered under the requirements of the REACH legislation.

1. Pre- register – access to group co-registrants (SIEF) and identify how many other companies within the European Union will potentially register the substance in 2018 and in what number will share the costs of testing and development of Chemical Safety report (if required). Company in SIEF share data on properties of substances together and cooperate in identifying and implementing further studies or drafting proposals for testing where necessary. Specifically, they have an obligation to jointly use all data on the tests conducted on vertebrates. SIEF Forum participants should agree on the classification and labeling of the substance.

2. If you have pre-registered substances, begin to actively follow up activity in your Forum to share information - it is important to know that your SIEF has a Lead Registrant or that can be shared already existing documentation and can be requested offer to purchase the rights to share this documentation, and thus schedule and registration with the associated costs in accordance with the financial plan of your company for the years 2017 and 2018, respectively.

Deadline 31. May 2017
is fast approaching - do not keep pre-register at the last minute. Identification of the substance, verification of the situation in the SIEF Forum, determination the best procedure for the registration of substances it takes time.

NOTIFICATION OF IDENTIFIED USE UNDER REACH REGULATION

Notification of identified use of chemical substance is possible until 1 June 2017.
Notification of identified use by supplier of chemical substances allows registrants to taken into accounts your use, so as to avoid subsequent potential problem, especially when it related to dangerous substances.

Registration of chemical substances produced and imported into the EEC in the range of 1 to 100 tonnes per year has to be registered by 1 June 2018. Time is coming!
